New Neighbors

Our first two weeks in Lausanne have been a "decalage" blur of getting home from the airport with 6 duffle bags and our two bikes, setting up phone, internet and bank accounts, multiple trips to the Controle des Habitants to get photographed and fingerprinted to announce our yearlong stay in Lausanne.

We're in love with our little flat - it's in Lausanne, above the Chailly neighborhood, just a few quick turns on our bikes to get out of town and into the countryside.   We live in the flat of a 100 year old house with views of the lake and the French and Swiss Alps.

Meet our new neighbors!

Our flat is small (4 rooms total), but light and airy with a balcony covered with Wisteria - it was recently renovated so we have a modern kitchen with beautiful French doors and windows.
